About Us

Bel-Aire Mechanical is Arizona’s mechanical contractor. We are centrally located in Phoenix, AZ. Our principal corporate office building and expanded pipe, plumbing and sheet metal manufacturing facilities are all state-of-the-art.

Bel-Aire Mechanical, an Arizona corporation, was formed in September of 1986. We are a full service Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing Contractor. Bel-Aire Mechanical is the largest Mechanical/Plumbing Contractor in the State of Arizona. James E. Dinan, President and CEO, is actively involved in the daily operations of the company. We take pride in constructing quality projects on time and within budget while exceeding our client’s expectations.

To better serve our Business Partners, Corporate Clients, and General Contractors, Bel-Aire Mechanical purchased a 5+ acre industrial property with an existing building in the Santa Fe Business Park (centrally located in Phoenix, Arizona).

The entire complex was totally retrofitted to encompass a 42,000-square-foot high bay facility that house 16,000-square-feet of offices, support space and dedicated fabrication areas with room for future growth.

Our diversity makes no project either too small or too large for our experienced teams to execute the work in an open and trusting atmosphere. Due to our extensive amount of experience, we thoroughly understand the stringent requirements and rigorous standards that must be absolutely adhered to for the highest levels of quality and acceptance necessary for any project.

Bel-Aire Mechanical has consistently demonstrated the ability to work and thrive within any construction environment.

We understand the construction application processes for projects built under stringent installation conditions. Our Design Build/Design Assist knowledge coupled with our experience to understand the exacting needs of any critical facility allows Bel-Aire to bring value and tangible benefits to your project.

Our Service Department provides repair, start-up, maintenance and retro-fits of existing equipment and newly installed systems. Our highly trained Technicians are skilled to work on all types of Air Conditioning equipment from the largest chillers to the smallest window type units. They also service low temperature equipment such as ice machines, walk-in coolers, freezers and drinking fountains, etc. Our Plumbing Service Technicians maintain the portable and sanitary systems serving water heaters, faucets, lavatories, toilets, urinals, piping systems and drain cleaning. Bel-Aire’s Service Department maintains a 24 hour, 7 day per week Emergency Answering service that directly contacts the technician in the event of a serious situation. We pride ourselves in having a two hour response time for any emergency that occurs after normal business hours.

Bel-Aire Mechanical has also made a substantial commitment to the manufacturing of the piping, plumbing and sheet metal components for all our projects and for other mechanical contractors and clients. Our efficient layout and design of the pipe manufacturing shop allows our certified welding operators plenty of room to fabricate while providing the pipe fitters with open access to the multiple interior and exterior crane hoists when needed. Our shops have state of the art computerized equipment and techniques. The skilled fabricators in our Sheet Metal shop can readily produce one-of-a kind architectural and specialty sheet metal items from standard and exotic metals, as well as galvanized ductwork utilized in heating, ventilation and air conditioning applications. This manufacturing philosophy plays well into our Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), LEAN and Last Planner approach. This modular manufacturing mentality reduces the total manpower required to complete any project, provides more access for other trades and contributes to the overall substantial cost savings in labor and material through strict monitoring of productivity and material waste.
