Projects Highlights:

Bel-Aire Mechanical set up a collaborative workspace for the Design Team to complete the mechanical, plumbing and medical gas systems as well as BIM modeling and coordination. Early collaboration on the project allowed the entire team to maximize the benefits of BIM. The indoor environment is maintained by four large variable volume air handling units, four heating hot water condensing boilers, humidifiers, air terminal units with hot water reheat, various exhaust systems and three-hundred ninety eight active chilled beams for maximum comfort, efficiency and optimum performance. Chilled water is provided by district cooling. Plumbing and Medical Gas systems consists of domestic water booster pumping station, two natural gas water heaters with 500-gallon storage capacity, pumps and lift station, drinking fountains with remote chillers, duplex stacked medical air plant, duplex stacked medical vacuum plant, alarm panels, wall and boom outlets and liquid automatic changeover panel with high pressure reserve cylinders.
