Just in time for this weekend’s Kick-off – University of Phoenix Stadium

This past Wednesday, with help from Southwest Industrial Rigging, Bel-Aire Mechanical’s Service Foreman Jimmy Pickens, along with Industrial Service Technicians Rob Seiler, Chris Cardone and Cody Curtis successfully completed an Axial Fan Assembly replacement on an 800 Ton Cooling Tower at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

This Cooling Tower Repair included the replacement of Pillow-block Bearings, Shaft, Cowlings, Stiffeners, Hubs, Driven Multi-groove Pulley and Installation & Pitch-setting of Blades. The completed assembly spans more than 13 feet in total diameter and weighs just over 1,300 pounds.
